Obituary

NELLIE JEAN TOWLE (nee Cheek) Age 29 years, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Methodist Hospital, Southlake in Merrillville. Nellie was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and a 1993 graduate of Lake Station Edison High School. She is survived by her husband, Everett Towle; a daughter, Hannah Medina; parents, Mike & Mona Cheek of Kouts; grandmothers, Nellie Cheek and Lola Autry, both of Portage; 3 sisters, Melody (David) Timmons of Lake Station, Christina (Danny) Aguilar of Portage, Angela Cheek of Kouts. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 6, 2004, 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, with Pastor Phil Willingham officiating. Burial will follow at McCool Cemetery in Portage. Visitation is Friday, March 5th from 5-8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
