Obituary

Peter Erich Jaquet, age 64 of Portage, IN, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 in Chicago, IL. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN with Rev. Dr. Carol Nordstrom officiating. Inurnment at McCool Cemetery, Portage, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Jacquet was born on March 1, 1943 in Berlin, Germany to the late Fredi and Erika (Barz) Jaquet. He was married to Terrie Dame, who survives of Portage. Also survived by: son, Christopher (Cassie) Jacquet of Danese, WV; daughter, Jennifer Jaquet of Chicago, IL; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Preceded in death by his twin daughters, one son, one sister, and parents. Mr. Jacquet worked as a driver and service representative for Option Care Enterprises. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. where he was awarded a Purple Heart. Arrangements by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel.
