Obituary

Meridith H. Blake, age 82, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. She was born on August 30, 1943, in Gary, Indiana, to Paul and Dorothy (Behrendt) Greene.

Meridith is survived by her daughter, Teri (Tandie) Blake of Winnfield, LA; brother, Roger Greene of Valparaiso, IN; three grandsons, Aaron (Katie) Clark, Jeremy (Addie) Blake, Tyler (Kelsey) Blake; granddaughter, Alicia Clark; three great-granddaughters, Allie Blake, Mia Blake, Noah Blake; two great-grandsons, Myles Blake, Bodhi Blake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Barbara Christman; and husband, Gene Blake.

Meridith graduated from Chesterton High School and was a member of Valparaiso Baptist Church.

A Private Service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest at McCool Cemetery, Portage, IN.
