Obituary

JERRY WAYNE MAUCK Hobart, Indiana Age 76 passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007. He was a resident of the Hobart area for the last 51 years, coming from Owensville, IN. He retired from Inland Steel as a Crane Operator in 1991 with 31 years of service. He served his country in the Korean War. Jerry was a die hard Brickies Fan who loved camping, motorcycles, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, June; 5 children: Kenneth (Myriam) Mauck of Valparaiso, David (Debbie) Mauck of Hobart, Daniel (Kim) Mauck of MI, Linda (Dave) Wenger of Valparaiso, and Cheryl (Greg) Lenson of Hobart; 15 grandchildren: Jason Mauck, Jennifer Mauck, Christopher Mauck, Erica Mauck, Becky Wenger, Jeff Wenger, Sara Wenger, Jacob Lenson, Jeremy Lenson, Melanie Norris, Jessica Fouse and Kendra Mauck, Bonnie Olson, Niki Bradford and Bryan Mathis; 9 great grandchildren: brother, Asa Mauck of Allendale, IL; sisters, Wanda Thompson of Priceton, IN, Lois (Nolan) Simpson of Ft. Branch, IN, and Sandy Werker of Vincennes, IN; and many special friends who called him Dad and Grandpa. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Zachary Mauck and great grandson, Gerid Bradford. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 10:00 am at Deep River Church of Christ, 7500 Grand Blvd., Hobart with Pastor Art Wilkerson and Pastor Ron Buche officiating. Burial will be at McCool Cemetery, Portage. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 2-8 pm Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
