Allie Mae Frazier, age 91, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Portage, Indiana. She was born on December 8, 1932, in Gibbs, Kentucky, to Rev. Hurshell and Minnie (Cobb) Anderson.
Allie is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Dennis) Portolos; sons, Benny (Tammy) Frazier, Terry (Connie) Frazier; sister, Mary "Jackie" (Harold) Smith; granddaughters, Stefanie (William), Sarah (Bobby), Amelia (Tim), Emily (Harvey); grandsons, Eric (Kaylee), Travis, Isiah, Micah (Karleigh); great-grandsons, Conner, Hudson, Brantley; great-granddaughters, Olivia, Paisley, Savannah, Linda, Sophia; and many nieces, nephews, family, and special church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Frazier; father, Rev. Hurshell Anderson; mother, Minnie Anderson; brothers, James (Lois) Anderson, Duane (Linda) Anderson, Bill (Eva) Anderson; sisters, Imogene (Robert) Zerck, Vera (Denvis) Fields, and twin sister, Sallie Anderson.
Allie was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid church goer and loved her church and family.She was a simple woman that lived for her family. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368, with Pastor Matthew McAfee officiating. Burial to follow at McCool Cemetery in Portage, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Allies' honor may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
