ARLENE A. MIHALEK
VALPARAISO -- Arlene A. Mihalek, 39, of Portage, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 1989, at Porter Memorial Hospital
She was born April 12, 1949, in Gary, a daughter of Michael and Lillian Mihalek.
Miss Mihalek was employed as a waitress at McDuffy's and Howard Johnson's restaurants, Portage.
Survivors are her mother, Lillian Foremski of Portage; a son, John Chathas of Portage; a sister, Brenda Colon of Gary; and three brothers, Michael Mihalek of South Bend, Robert Mihalek of South Haven and Walter Foremnski of Portage.
Graveside services were held today at McCool cemetery, Portage; the Rev. Joseph Powlowski officiated; memorials to the family.
